T. K. A Nair, the principal secretary to Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, arrived in Sri Lanka yesterday (25th). According to media he had arrived in Sri Lanka on an invitation by Lalith Weeratunga, Secretary to President Mahinda Rajapakse. Indian PM’s secretary who arrived here yesterday stayed in room No.551 in Taj Samudra Hotel and went to Mt. Lavinia Hotel today morning and held a secret discussion with several Tamil political leaders. According to information ‘Lankatruth’ has received he is expected to meet several Tamil representatives to have discussions in Kandy tomorrow. Indian PM’s principal secretary’s unannounced arrival in Sri Lanka, his secret discussions with representatives of Tamil political parties and the government’s effort to conceal his arrival here pose serious suspicion regarding his visit.
