‘Siyatha’ attacked

‘Siyatha’ media network office at Union Place in Colombo has been attacked by an armed gang early morning today (30^th). An armed gang was involved in the attack which caused extensive damage to the building. According to employees the armed gang had assaulted them and forced them to kneel down.

They later threw petrol bombs inside the office causing the fire which was later doused by the fire brigade. Police teams have been deployed to investigate the incident. Two persons have been injured and hospitalized.

Siyatha is operated by Voice of Asia Network (Pvt) Ltd and includes Siyatha FM and Vettri FM.

Kel. what happened to the other cases in the past? Murders of Journalists and attack on MTV, Rupawahini.... It all looks like the things are going on with approval of the Govt. And how can they investigate into their matters? We need to distribute the vital institutions of democracy away from the President and his family.

still we dont know who did this and what is the intention for it.
