The decision taken by Central Bank to withhold granting 20% bonus interest to senior citizens of this country who had been promised the bonus earlier is a great injustice states United National Party.

Following the announcement of Central Bank for granting 20% bonus interest to the deposits of senior citizens they deposited large sums of money in their accounts. However the government is trying to abolish this bonus interest after collecting money from their accounts UNP alleged.

Addressing a press conference the General Secretary of UNP Mr. Tissa Attanayaka said that the government is wasting money in large amounts and it is a matter of concern why the bonus interest of senior citizens was cut down.

Yes we believed this blatant manupilation of this government, voted these greedy devils into power, withdrew cash from private banks, pumped into state banks, now we have to look up to the Gods to take us from this earth very soon for the way our politicians have cheated us. We are old, weak, feeble, cannot walk, arthritis on our joints, poor eye sight, served the nation truthfully in our young days, why is Mahinda Rajapaksa, & family, Nivard Cabraal, PB Jayasundera, Lalith Weeratunga etc. and everyone else treating us as lepers and trying to send us to our graves before our time by harassing, torturing us with lies and our monies. Mahinda and Basil spent billions on IIFA, what a lot of waste is going on, Mahinda is giving dansalas to all and sundry, what about us old tortured senior citizens, who will help us, who will look after us, do we have to go before human rights and Ban Ki Moon to settle our woes. Shame on you Mahinda Rajapakse and all you torturers, you and your family will have to suffer karma for your future generations for your cunning tactics and taking our money from us. Budu saranai. we need help from Buddha at least.
