Govt. in a conspiracy to remove Chief Justice - Anura

The government has launched a conspiracy to remove the Chief Justice says the Member of the Political Bureau of the JVP Parliamentarian Anura Dissanayake.

Speaking at a farmers’ seminar held at Thambuththegama Mr. Dissanayake says a conspiracy to remove the Chief Justice is being hatched as several judgments given by the Supreme Court had not been favourable to the government.

The government is attempting to either win the Chief Justice over by threatening and pressurizing her or push her towards resigning from the post said the JVP Parliamentarian.

If all these attempts fail the government is planning to bring an impeachment against the Chief Justice and pass it in the Parliament said Mr. Dissanayake and added that already signatures of MPs are being collected for this.

He further said a situation has arisen in which the government would not allow the existence of any organization or institution that works on behalf of law and order, justice and fair play.

I am not a supportere of this useless government and its leaders. Nevertheless I wish to point out here that the Chief Justice is not a fit and proper person to hold this position. She should have resigned from the position for all the irregular work done by her husband (Pradeep Kariyawasam)thr ough out his career.

In gun culture, chief justice have no place. CJ Sarath Siva said he is in a way for president to be with executive powers. What will this lady say if she would not stand now as CJ.

Yes,you sound like a smart leader.Explain to the ordinary people what is going on in the country. You should be the leader of the opposition. So many unfair things happening in Srilanka and not a word against it by the leader of the opposition Ranin Wickramasinghe. He is supposed to be representing the public. He gets his perks and keeping quiet.Pathetic situation to be in.Next time I know whom to vote for.
