Govt. that charged KP earlier now says he’s free – Vijitha

The government that charged KP earlier now says he doesn’t have any charges against him says the Information Secretary of the JVP Parliamentarian Vijitha Herath.

Speaking to the media Parliamentarian Herath has said it is the government that charged KP as a fierce criminal, he is being sought by the Interpol, he was the successor to Prabakaran, he sent ships full of arms to terrorists in Sri Lanka and he has carried out assassinations.

However, cabinet spokesman and Minister Keheliya Rambukwella now says there are no charges against KP. He is being protected by the government and spends a luxurious life with public money spent on him by the government added Mr. Herath.

He said this LTTE leader has been released without any charges while thousands of youths are being detained without any charges but merely for having connections with the LTTE. This is an injustice to these youths and also would create a situation that would be detrimental to the country.

What happened to trillions of money, gold, international assets that were with KP? Nonexistent of an answer to this question explains why KP has not been charged added Mr. Herath.
