Fuel prices to go up?

There is a possibility of fuel prices going up warn trade unions of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation.

They say the Corporation incurs a massive loss due to stopping of refinery process of the Sapugaskanda Refinery. Media yesterday (24th) reported that the loss incurs by the Corporation is Rs.55 million per day.

The trade unions say under such an environment the prices of fuel may go up by Rs.4 to Rs.5 within the next few days.
