India to expose Sri Lanka’s top secrets

Pinak Chakravarty, Special Secretary, Public Diplomacy, Ministry of External Affairs has revealed that India possesses a large number of documents that include top secrets of Sri Lanka. He has said these documents would not be concealed from the public and added that some of these files are now available with the National Archives.

It has been revealed that India has more than 220,00 files related to countries including Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan along with American and European nations and all of them would be declassified say Indian officials. India’s Ministry of External Affairs has already declassified 70,000 files and later decided to declassify another 220,000 files that had been labeled top secret until now.
