All judiciary matters come to a halt tomorrow

The judges have decided to keep away from their duties tomorrow (8th) to protest against the attack on the Secretary to the Judiciary Service Commission Manjula Tillekeratne.

Accordingly, judges of the Magistrates Court and District courts will keep away from legal activities tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the lawyers will hold a ‘Sathyagraha’ tomorrow opposite the Hulfsdorf Court Complex and will engage in a protest march to Fort Railway Station. They will keep away from legal matters tomorrow (8th) and the day after tomorrow (9th).

This decision has been taken after a discussion by several lawyers’ organizations.

They might as well keep away permanently. The Head of the judiciary is Idi Mahin and court judgements are indirectly decided by him and NOT by the judges of the respective courts. Hail Hitler!!
