The evaluation process of the GCE A/L examination held in August this year has been stopped due to the continuous strike of the university teachers. However, the Minister of Higher Education S.B. Dissanayake has stated the evaluation process would commence next week.
University teachers were called to the Ministry of Education on the 24th to discuss regarding the evaluation process. Only 15 teachers out of 400 had turned up for the discussion. However, the Minister of Higher Education has said about 60 teachers would carry out the evaluation process.
