A petition by the students on Z-Score

Since the Z-Score crisis is not settled yet, the students have decided to sign a petition island-wide.

Accordingly this will be signed at 10.30 a.m. today (15) at Kalutara, Gampaha, Tangalle Matara, Kandy, Kurunegala, Kegalle and Chilaw distributing hand-bills simultaneously.

An organizer of the group added that a banner will be signed opposite Fort Railway Station at 10.30 a.m.  in order to get a reasonable settlement for the students who are affected with the Z-Score.

I have no words to express my mental agony regarding z score issue that was purposely made to rot by the hierarchy of education ministries to show their arrogance to the judiciary and the affected parties. I had no alternative but gave my child antidepressant drugs to alleviate stress. I am sure that majority of affected parents seek psychiatric advice to correct their children's deranged mantel status due to unexpectedly distorted exam results.
