Geneva talks commence today at 10.00 a.m.

The talks between GoSL and wanni tiger organization will take place today in Geneva at 10.00 a.m. Geneva time. The talks will be held in International Conference Hall situated at the centre of the city.

 

Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva will head the GoSL delegation and among the other members of the 12 strong delegation are Ministers Rohithe Bogollagama, Jeyaraj Fernandopulle, Farial Asroff, President’s Counsel H.L. de Silva, Senior Lawyer Gomin Dayasiri, Dr. Palithe Kohona and former DIG Chandra Fernando.

 

Thamilselvan will head the tiger delegation and several others including Nadesan, Pulidevan, Rudrakumaran will participate. Anton Balasingham, who was the head of the tiger delegation for previous talks, has been removed. Norway will be the mediator and Swiss Government will be the facilitator. 

 

Discussions will be held today and tomorrow.
