If the Government doesn’t take measures to halt abductions
in the North and the East they would carry out a continuous
agitation in the Parliament said TNA Parliamentarian Mawai
Senathiraja.
He said so at a media briefing held yesterday (1st)
at the Parliamentary complex. Parliamentarian Senathiraja
said CWC, Western Province People’s Front and Upcountry
People’s Front will join TNA in the agitation.
Mr. Senathiraja added that certain groups are attempting to
sabotage peace talks. He complained that the Government has
not made any statement regarding the abduction of several
people of TRO. TNA members staged a walk out at the
Parliament yesterday protesting against the abductions.
