Retired DIG asked to go by bus

Retired DIG at Ampara Keerthi de Silva says he was not given a vehicle to transport his personal belongings despite requesting a vehicle from the Department of Police.

He has told media that he was a person from Galle and requested a vehicle from the department to transport his personal belongings from the official residence in Ampara to Galle. However, he was not granted this request despite having a parade to say good bye to him.

Meanwhile former police spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana says official vehicles are not given to transport furniture.

Former police spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana should not be giving his two cents worth now. He should be leaving this to his successor!!
