Doctors in Colombo on strike

All doctors attached to the Colombo District branch of the GMOA have commenced a strike action today (17th).

The strike protesting against the non-action of the regional director to solve a critical situation at Lunawa Hospital commenced at 8.00 a.m. today and will continue for 24 hours said a hospital spokesman.
