Cannabis transported by Divisional Secretary’s vehicle

Habbegamuwa Police have taken into custody the vehicle belonging to the Divisional Secretary of Thanamalvila while transporting 23 kilograms of cannabis. A special investigation is to be conducted to find out whether anyone from the Divisional Secretariat had assisted in transporting the cannabis taken into custody yesterday (14th) said the police.

The vehicle and the driver are to be presented to court and further investigations will be carried out by Habbegamuwa Police.
