Doctors strike against Mayor

It is reported that doctors in Government hospitals in Galle District are engaged in a token strike today (24th).

The token strike is launched against the police inaction regarding a complaint made against the Mayor of Galle Municipality who had threatened a doctor at Karapitiya Teaching Hospital.

Doctors of all hospital except Karapitiya Teaching Hospital, Balapitiya and Elpitiya hospitals will join the strike say reports.
