Exports of Dessicated Coconut returned from Greece

A container of 12,500 kg. packed in 500 bags with 25 kg. each has been returned from a port in Greece due to contamination on the 3rd of August.

It is reported these stocks were obtained from two coconut factories in Kurunegala and Wennappuwa areas and exported through a prominent Company.

However the Coconut Development Authority statethat this is a result of a conspiracy.
