UNP councilor arrested for assaulting person

The UNP member of Galenbindunuwewa Pradeshiya Sabha has been taken into custody on charges of assaulting a person.

The resident of Megodawewa at Maharambawewa injured in the attack by the Member of the Pradeshiya Sabha has been admitted to Galenbindunuwewa Rural Hospital.

Galenbindunuwewa Police is conducting further investigations.
