Mannar magistrate’s wife’s house attacked

It is reported that an unknown gang had attacked a house belonging to the wife of the High Court Judge at Mannar. A van parked at the premises too had been damaged due to the attack say reports.

Investigations are being carried out by Mannar Police.

Certain sections of residents in the area held an agitation recently and stoned the Court damaging property. It was reported that the gang that attacked the court was manipulated by Minister Rishad Bathiudeen and the Minister threatened the Magistrate over the phone.
