Unions to complain to Bribery Commission against Railways Department

The All Ceylon Railway General Employees’ Union will lodged an entry with the Bribery Commission today (27th) regarding several incidents of  mass scale frauds that have taken place in the Sri Lanka Railways Department says the General Secretary of the Union Sumathipala Manawadu.

The complaint will be filed on such matters as allowing the private sector to add compartment to trains, getting a private firm involved in reserving tickets for commuters and making available scrap iron to the private sector without any accepted process.
