All MPs from Rajapaksa family avoid ‘New York Times’ debate

None of the MPs from Rajapaksa family was present at the Parliamentary debate held today (19th) in connection with the revelation made by ‘New York Times’ that Mr Mahinda Rajapaksa had used the money he had received from a Chinese company for his propaganda campaigns during the presidential election in 2015.
Mr Mahinda Rajapaksa has gone abroad avoiding participating in the debate while his son Namal Rajapaksa or his elder brother Chamal Rajapaksa was not present in Parliament during the debate.

    These people jump forward to issue Statements in such matters, but their silence is evidence of the truth.
    The Govt. may take donkeys ears to press charges, knowing that political deals are more the need
    of the day.
