Rajarata students take to the street against arbitrary suspensions

An agitation to protest against suspending studentship of the President of the Students’ Council and several other students on false accusations and several other grievances was held at the Mihinthale Faculty of the University of Rajarata yesterday (5th).
Students complain that the University administration, instead of solving academic and welfare issues that exist in the university telephone parents threatening them.
The studentships of 12 students have been suspended from 13th September and 9 more students have been suspended from 28th February.
The agitation demanding solutions for the issues in the University was organized by the Students’ Council while student s from the Faculties of Technology and Management Studies commenced a continues boycott of lectures demanding authorities to withdraw the suspensions of the 21 students.
