The Commission of Elections has decided to accept nominations for 93 local government councils for the local government election.
Accordingly, it has been decided to accept nominations for the 93 councils for 14 days from the 27th of November.
This was stated by the Chairman of the Elections Commissioner Mahinda Deshapriya at a press briefing held after a special meeting of the Elections Commission.
