Five people have been killed and at least 40 injured when an attacker drove a car along a pavement in Westminster who also stabbed a policeman. He was later shot dead by police in the grounds of Parliament. The attacker has not been named by the police yet.
According to policed an alleged terrorist is said to have driven over Westminster Bridge, hitting several bystanders including three police officers as one woman leaped into the River Thames.
Wielding a knife, he then stabbed to death a police officer before being shot by armed police just inside the Houses of Parliament security cordon.
“We’ve declared this as a terrorist incident and the counter-terrorism command are carrying out a full-scale investigation into the events today,” Mark Rowley, Britain’s most senior counter-terrorism officer,
