Pakistan Prime Minister escapes assassination attempt

Pakistan Prime Minister escaped an assassination attempt today. The Prime Minister's vehicle was partially damaged when two bullets struck its shutters at Islamabad highway today.
According to reports Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani and members of his entourage were safe after shots were fired on his motorcade.
Reports say the firing was carried out at a security zone and the shots specifically targeted Prime Minister Gilani.
Security of Pakistan's Prime Minister has been put on high alert after the incident.
