COPE fraudsters at large! Govt. mum!

It is reported that no legal action has been taken yet regarding frauds and corruptions in state enterprises as revealed by Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE).
The frauds and corruptions revealed by the report of COPE presided by Parliamentarian Wijedasa Rajapakse which was issued in August, 2007 were reported to Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC)but so far no action has been taken.
The report has revealed instances of fraud and corruption against former UNP Parliamentarians including Milinda Moragoda, Karu Jayasuriya and G.L. Peiris. As they subsequently joined Mahinda Rajapakse government and have became ministers in 2005, the investigations against them have been swept under the carpet.
