The third National Convention of All Ceylon Trade Union Federation (ACTUF) is being held at Sugthadasa Indoor Stadium in Colombo with the participation of more than 5000 representatives from 85 trade unions in railways, petroleum, ports, electricity, health and education spheres.

The convention held under the theme "Let's build people's power, win over rights and bring victory to Motherland" is expected to take decisive decisions regarding the forthcoming strike on the 10th of this month said a spokesman of ACTUF to 'Lankatruth.' 

The convention is in progress at the time.
